1-DAY CLIFF JUMPING, KAYAKING & DEEP WATER SOLO – FULL DAY ADVENTURE IN LAN HA BAY
Tour Overview:
Your day begins with hotel pick-up in Cat Ba Town and equipment fitting at the climbing office. From there, you'll transfer to Beo Wharf and board a boat that takes you to the first climbing site.
The first activity is deep water soloing — a form of climbing without ropes, where the sea is your safety net. Guides will instruct you on jumping techniques, landing safely in water, and how to approach each route. You'll start with basic climbs around 4a grade (about 5 meters high), and then, based on your comfort and skill level, try higher and more technical routes.
Climbing is done at two famous crags in Lan Ha Bay:
Sea Face : Offers about 15 routes ranging from 4a to 7a, ideal for learning and warming up. There are also traverse options for those who prefer lower jump heights.
Three Brothers : A less intimidating cliff for Deep Water Solo beginners, with 17 routes from 5b to 7c+. While most climbs are under 15 meters, they are dynamic, fun, and perfect for developing climbing technique.
After climbing, you'll enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on board , followed by a peaceful afternoon of kayaking around Dark and Light Cave, visiting a local floating fishing village, and exploring Turtle Island.
