HALF DAY ROCK CLIMBING IN LAN HA BAY
An unforgettable adventure for thrill-seekers and nature lovers. Deep Water Solo lets you climb majestic limestone rocks rising from the emerald waters of Lan Ha Bay — then leap into the sea for an exhilarating finish.
Tour Overview:
Your adventure begins with a fitting session for climbing shoes at our office, followed by a short transfer to Ben Beo Pier. From there, you'll board the boat and cruise to the first climbing site, "Sea Face."
Onboard, experienced climbing guides will provide a safety briefing, instructions on jumping techniques, and climbing tips. You'll begin with warm-up routes (as easy as 4a), and depending on your skill and confidence, progress to higher walls.
Mid-tour, you'll move to "Three Brothers," a more challenging cliff with 18 routes ranging from intermediate to advanced levels (5b to 7c+). Routes are categorized so climbers can choose based on their comfort level:
Beginner: Loco Mexicano – 5 meters, perfect for first-timers
Intermediate: Blurred Lines, Cadeau Noelle, Brotha Man, Tinkerbell, and others (6a–6b)
Advanced: Vairghy Bootifool, Don't Let Go, You Like Slopers?, and more (6c+–7c+)
At the end of the session, enjoy a refreshing swim, cold drinks, and tropical fruit onboard before heading back to Ben Beo Pier.
HALF DAY DEEP WATER SOLO
07:45 – 12:30 or 12:30 – 17:30
(Departure time depends on tide levels)
Challenge yourself in the heart of the majestic Lan Ha Bay, where dramatic limestone rocks rise from emerald waters. Scale towering walls, enjoy panoramic views, and plunge into the sea — a thrilling reward for your climb!
Itinerary
07:30 / 12:15 – Arrive at our office 15 minutes before departure to try on the right size climbing shoes.
07:45 / 12:30 – Transfer by taxi to Ben Beo Pier. Board the boat and head to the first climbing site: Sea Face .
– Onboard, our experienced guides will brief you on safety, jumping/landing techniques, and route tips.
– Start with a warm-up climb (4a, 5m) to practice landing, then progress based on your strength and skills.
– Sea Face features about 15 routes ranging from 4a to 7a, with options for traverses if you prefer lower jumps.
Midway through the session – Move to the second wall: Three Brothers , a more advanced site with 18 routes (graded 5b to 7c+):

Beginner Route:
The easiest climb on the wall. A perfect introduction to Deep Water Solo! Ideal for first-timers to get used to the height and water jumps.
Intermediate Climbs (6a to 6b):
From the start of Cadeau Noelle , traverse left and follow a crack up to a small plant.
Begin at a big jug and climb to the tufa bulge. Jump from the ledge above or continue to the top.
A tricky start followed by beautiful pockets and cracks up to a slopey ledge.
Enjoyable stems and layback sequences.
Climb straight up the tufas and follow the inside corner. Great jumping spot on the left.
Pleasant route with a good jumping ledge. Check your fall zone before you leap.
Start in a big hueco and chimney through a technical face to finish under the roof.
Start on a gray tufa right of the big hueco. Follow pockets to a crimpy crux finish.
Advanced Climbs (6c+ and above):
Climb to the tufas, follow the crack under the roof, then jump from the ledge.
Traverse a sharp finger crack on orange rock, then climb over a small roof to a narrow ledge.
Hold on until the boat clears your fall zone, then grab the crack. Easy climbing from there.
A powerful, short bouldery challenge.
Technical and sharp — use caution with your fingers.
Very short but intense and slippery.
10–15 minutes before returning – Enjoy a refreshing swim, chill with a cold drink and some fruit onboard.
12:30 / 17:30 – Return to Ben Beo Pier by boat. Tour ends.
