We begin by picking you up from your hotel in Cat Ba Town and taking you to our climbing office, where you’ll try on your climbing shoes and gear. After a quick safety briefing, we head to the port to board the boat.
Our first stop is Sea Face, a dramatic limestone wall rising from the sea. While cruising, your guide will provide tips on safe jumping and landing techniques. Before each climb, you’ll get an overview of the route — including its grade, key moves, and optional jump points.
You’ll begin with an easy 4a route (approx. 5 meters) to get comfortable with the water landing.
Based on your strength and comfort, the guide will recommend more climbs from a selection of 15+ routes graded 4a to 7a, mostly in the 5a–6b range.
Don’t feel like jumping from too high? We also offer traverse routes to stay closer to the water.
Once your climbing session ends, it's time to slow things down.
You’ll receive your kayak and life jacket and begin a guided paddle through the tranquil heart of Lan Ha Bay — gliding past limestone karsts, white-sand beaches, and hidden caves. There's time to swim in the crystal-clear water and soak in the stunning scenery before heading back.
Your journey ends with a meal (lunch or dinner) at a local restaurant or floating house, depending on the time of your trip.
Half Day Deep Water Solo and Kayaking

We will pick you up at your hotel in Cat Ba town to our office 30 minutes before the trip to try on your climbing shoes, then we will have a car to take you to the port where the boat is waiting.
Then the boat will go to the first wall calledSea Face, while the guide will explain and give you some tips on jumping and landing techniques. Before each climb, they will explain the name, level and some difficult moves that you may need when climbing. First, you will start with a basic level (4a, 5m high) to get used to the feeling of jumping and adjust the landing technique, then based on your strength and climbing skills, our guide will suggest the next routes for you to try. There are about 15 routes on Sea Face, classified from 4a to 7a, mostly
from 5a to 6b. There are also some overpass routes if you do not want to jump from too high a height.
After completing the DWS, the guide will provide you with a kayak and life jacket. Start the journey to explore Lan Ha Bay.
