Climbing at Moody Beach is like stepping into a lost world. Surrounded by jungle-covered limestone rocks, this hidden sandy beach offers vertical climbs with stunning views over Lan Ha Bay. Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate climber, this tour provides an ideal introduction to outdoor climbing in a spectacular natural setting.
Tour Overview:
Guests are picked up in Cat Ba town and transferred to our climbing office for a quick fitting of shoes and equipment. From there, you'll travel by boat to Moody Beach — a unique climbing location accessible only from the sea.
At the crag, our experienced guides will set up top rope systems and support you from below as you begin climbing. The routes range from 4c to 6b+, and based on your ability and experience, the guides will recommend routes suitable to you. You'll receive hands-on coaching and instruction throughout the session, including basic climbing techniques, how to tie figure-8 knots, how to communicate with your belayer, and how to use climbing gear safely.
Every climb rewards you with panoramic views of Lan Ha Bay from the top. Between climbs, you can relax on the beach or enjoy a swim in the calm, clear waters. This beach offers vertical limestone routes with excellent rock quality, perfect holds, and safe ledges for resting.

Itinerary
7:00 am : Pick-up from your hotel in Cat Ba Town to the office.
7:30 am : at the office, try on shoes and pick up equipment.
8:00 am: The car will pick you up at the office to go to Beo wharf , then get on the boat to go to the climbing point. It takes 30 minutes to get to the climbing point where you will find climbs ranging from 4+ to 6b+. Then, our professional guides will set up the top rope and support you while you're climbing.
Start climbing while the guides belay and instruct you from below.
12:30: Return to Beo wharf.
