7h00 - 7h50: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for the transfer to Ninh Binh.
9h15: Visit of Quang Phu Cau village, a quintessential Vietnamese villagerenowned for its craft of incense-making. Upon arrival, visitors are immediately struck by the sight of incense bundles strewn along pathways, temple courtyards, and vacant plots of land. Notably, these bundles boast a variety of vibrant colors, predominantly red, lending the landscape an enchanting, colorful allure.
09h45: Depart for Hoa Lu Ancient Capital
11h30: Visit of Hoa Lu,the ancient capital of Vietnam from the years 968 to 1010. Then you will visit the Temple of Dinh King and Le King and learn more about Vietnamese history under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.
12h15: It’s time to join our 30-minutes optional cycling activity to discover the life of the local people, or you can stay and relax at the restaurant and enjoy some sightseeings to capture some beautiful moments at the lake, the waterfall and the valleys.
12h45: Enjoy a lunch buffet with Ninh Binh food specialties in a scenic setting; a vegetarian option is also available.
13h30: Visit of Tam Coc, known as “Halong Bay on land”,where you will spend 1.5 hours on a rowboat to explore the area. On this excursion down the Ngo Dong River, you will pass through beautiful paddy fields, limestone karst formations, and a stunning cave system including Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba caves for a unique experience.
15h45: Continue to Mua Cave (Dragon Peak).Walk-up the 500 steps, you will reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain and have amazing panoramic views of Tam Coc from the summit.
17h00: Check-in at your accommodation in Tam Coc. Free time to relax and enjoy the swimming pool.
19h00: Dinner served at the restaurant. Overnight in Tam Coc.
Day 2: Cuc Phuong National Park
Morning:Have breakfast at the homestay.
08h45: Begin the trip to Cuc Phuong National Park, Vietnam’s oldest nature reserve.
10h30: Visit of the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre - a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation, breeding, research, and conservation of endangered primates, and to the protection of their habitats.
12h00: Lunch with local food specialties at a nearby restaurant.
13h00: Take a light trek throught the forest to learn more about the fauna and flora in one of the oldest forest of Vietnam and visit the“Cave of Early Man”,home to some prehistoric remains.
16h00: Depart for Hanoi.
18h30: Drop-off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.
